History of the barn
Through the decades, the barn has served many purposes.
Constructed - 1900’s
Originally constructed in the early 1900’s, the barn was originally used as well, a barn! As seen above, the farm was home to cows and other livestock.
Restaurant/Game Room - 1980’s
In the 1980’s the barn underwent its first renovation into an event space! This renovation made room for a restaurant upstairs and a game room downstairs.
Reversal the movies - 2000’s
In the early 2000’s the barn was the setting for some scenes in the wrestling movie Reversal!
The Barn Social, September 1st, 2022
After sitting unused for years our family spent the summer of 2022 renovating the interior of the barn to serve as a premier venue space. After hours of demolition and reconstruction the transformation was completed in the Fall of 2022 in time for us to host our first event in the space, a wedding for 150 guests. The new space features upgraded bathrooms, the addition of a fireplace, added decorative barn wood from the original construction, and modern light fixtures.
